This has just gone wackadoodle. It took me from May to August to move 2%.

  1. Okay... I'm still trying to approach this in a positive way - not as if there's something flawed in the program. Maybe it's that same phenomenon where it takes forever for the gas tank to go from full to a quarter of a tank, but then rapidly depletes at that point. (in reverse, of course, since your percentage is increasing) Maybe what you're learning now weighs heavier in the percentages. (am I grabbing at straws?)

    1. Yep, you probably are. But I think something the same. I'd say it is seeing somehow that I've got more words in my head, and know how to fit them in.

  2. Ha! Kelly's comparison made me chuckle, because that is true. Yes! Maybe you are moving quicker because the basics are always the hardest part. You have the foundation, so maybe things are going quicker now. Does 100% mean you are fluent?
On another note, I just saw that you all are bracing for a hurricane? I'll be thinking positive thoughts, and please keep us updated!

    1. I'd say 100% means you have a total grasp of the course no matter how the deploy it. Meaning you are fluent to that level. But what I'm finding hard is to read a German Newspaper for I'm not getting the entire sentence. But I am getting there.
What I really need is to go to Austria or Bavaria for a month, for I think I have more than I think I have.

Yeah, we have a storm hitting the Island tomorrow. At the mo it's flat calm, and I mean smoke straight up like the school books showed back in the day. But it's also warm, tropical warm.
Today we had a Red warning along the coast from Kerry to Donegal, then this evening Cork, Waterford and Wexford were included. And later the Red warning was for all the Island. Courts, Schools and transport are closed. No State business whatsoever.

    2. I hope you hunkered down and survived the storm (sans chainsaw?!?!). I read that it was 30 years ago to the day since the last (ex) hurricane. Weird!

    3. Yes, I'm wondering how you fared, too. It made our national newscast the other evening!
